"Mirror With Parecloses, Provence, XVIIIth Century."
Beautiful and elegant mirror with glazing beads in gilded wood richly carved with leaves, bunches of grapes and flowers in the shape of roses. The openwork pediment has large acanthus leaves and reed-shaped vegetation. The elegantly sculpted feet on the inside of the mirror. The original mercury ice as well as its gilding and its backgrounds. It dates from the very beginning of the Louis XV period, around 1745, 18th century, originally from Provence. Dimensions: h.112 cm x l.72 cm. Good condition (small gaps). Private collection.
