Mahogany neo-classic dinning-room signed by Georges GUERIN (10-14 Faubourg Saint-Antoine, PARIS) beginning of the XXth.
It is composed of :
1 buffet and hutch. The upper part is a display case with curved glass sides
1 low sideboard with green marble and three drawers. The left and right drawers can move.
Total height : 200 cm, Width 167 cm, Depth 56 cm
1 oval extendable table (we do not have the extensions but they can be made if asked)
1 dessert trolley with green marble and three drawers.
1 big mirror, Height 155 cm, width 113 cm
8 wicker chairs.
All the keyholes work and have their own key.
All is in perfect condition.
On the front, there are Wedgwood style porcelain biscuit designs
Above the mirror, there is a medallion with a portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte,
At the center of the buffet and hutch, there is an ancient composition with the faces of the little goddess of love and the vestal virgins : the servants of the temple of the goddness Vesta (She was the goddess of hearth during the Ancient Rome). Bay tree branches are used for the fire on a tripod. A hearth of temple for love and the family welfare.
