"Victorian Era Brass Bucket"
Very decorative bucket in repoussé brass from the Victorian period. Renaissance-style decoration in bas relief representing foliage, windings and satyr's head on each side. Ovoid in shape and flared at the top, plinth molded and rolled up at the base. Crimping assembly, fixed handle welded to tin. Two small wear holes in the upper part in the decoration (about 2mm long) hardly detectable, see the photo of details indicated by the white arrows. Maximum height of the container without the handle: 22 cm. Beautiful shine of the metal which has been polished recently. Small scattered but very discreet indentations, a few tiny oxidation spots if you want to nitpick. Note: there is a similar larger model, with a two-flap cover which was used to keep the charcoal, placed near a fireplace or a stove, it was at the same time decorative. delivery: 10 € for mainland France.
