2nd Renaissance period
If this ceremonial stuff design and construction clearly refer to architectural language (front with 3 parts, the 2 laterals narrower and recessed - allowing to create a discreet perspective and depth game, punctuated by 4 columns surrounded by Corinthian capitals), this influence is further reinforced by the very rich carved decoration of this dresser.
All the elements of sculptures, panels, columns, fittings (latches of the side doors, lock and key of the central door, pendants of the 3 chiseled iron drawers) are fully original and geniune.
Very good condition: only to report usual restorations on discreet or non-visible parts of the furniture
* right blind edge of the cornice)
* 4 vertical pillars at the back of the dresser redone in the 19th century (each time, original carved elements of visible parts have been preserved and placed on the perfectly blind restored uprights - only visible at the back of the cabinet.
Dimensions: Height 155cm * width 119cm * depth 48cm
