"Mirror In Golden Wood Period Late Regency Early Louis XV"
Important mirror with glazing beads in gilded wood richly decorated with volutes of acanthus leaves, shells, foliage and flowers. The pediment is decorated with a large openwork shell depicting a blooming acanthus flanked by a garland of flowers. On the shoulder rest two birds with semi-extended wings. Work of harmonious proportions circa 1720-1730.
