"Nubian Clock"
Nubian and cotton bundle desk clock. Gilded bronze and bronze with black patina. Theme and accessories evoking maritime trade. Nubian with the eyes of sulphide. Model similar to a drawing filed under the name of Michel in August 1808. Similar model at the DUESBERG museum in Mons in Belgium (La pendule française de Pierre KJELLBERG). Period early nineteenth. Revised movement.
