"Locomotive 242 Sncf Around 1950"
LOCOMOTIVE 242 SNCF circa 1950 Exceptional locomotive in the lineage of Fournereau, Lesquen, K108 and other model makers of the 1930s - 1950s. I have not identified the manufacturer of this one, but it is of very high quality. Metal and brass, electrical plug connecting the locomotive and the tender. Having been on a collector's shelf for over 60 years, it is very dusty and the engine needs to be restarted. It is in superb condition with the exception of a small connecting rod to be glued. 63 cm long, 42 cm for the locomotive and 21 for the tender. Weight: 4 Kgs
