Circa 1775/1785 France Rare pair of simplicity shoes for Lady dating from the Louis XVI period. Bleu de France wool and silk twill that has retained its luster. Upper with high placket and small kitten heel in brown shiny leather (scuffs). Glossy raw linen lining and tawny leather soles. Small times, otherwise stable and good condition of color and conservation. Dimensions: Equivalent to size 35 France. Length 23 cm, vamp 19 cm, heel height 4 cm.
