A Louis XVI blue ground Paris porcelain, ormolu and marble mounted ewer, circa 1785, attr. to Pierre Gouthiere (1732-1813), of baluster form, the berried and foliate scroll handle surmounted with a balancing putto leaning over an everted lip cast with goat and satyr masks, on three feline monopodia above a concaved triangular base with a central rosette.
