Franz PRIKING was born in 1929 in Germany His painting, Expressionist, where the black circle around the objects reveals the more intense components, a glassis inherited from the Flemish school and a fauvism that his discovery of Provence (in 1958) will only make to strenghten. His painting will evolve from the beginning of the 60s, towards a symbolism sometimes tinged with surrealism.
