"Barber Mirror In Mahogany From Cuba, Empire Period - Early 19th Century"
Beautiful set in solid Cuban Mahogany and Mahogany veneer with a tilting mercury mirror, surrounded by a rounded wooden element, shaped in a semi-circle and ending in volutes. "Butterfly" screws adorn the rear part to facilitate the orientation of the mirror. Adjustable in height, this unusual psyche features a double weight system located in the barrel. Above this we find a circular tablet in cuba mahogany. At the bottom, a collar surmounts a tripod base with concave shapes with castors. With its sober and delicate lines, this psyche dating from the Empire period will seduce you with its ingenuity and its rarity.
