Iron Corsair Chest - Eighteenth

18th century Corsair chest. This box with sober lines has a significant weight essential for stability on board ships of the time. This crate, necessary for transporting valuable objects or documents, has a central key lock, hasp latches and solid hinges. Surrounded by thickened rushes and side carrying handles, this chest rests on four slab feet. Inside, we discover a spacious storage space painted in red, completed by a double bottom floor and a cover also conceals a compartment.
