Very large oval-shaped tray, from the Kadjar period, polylobed in brass engraved with pastoral scenes, from the 19th century from Iran.
A rare piece due to its dimensions and the quality of the engravings made of course by hand Fully decorated with scenes specific to the history of Persia, trades of life in Persia The set is in perfect condition, a beautiful patina of the age, important piece that can find its place on a table or on a wall.
The Kadjar or Kadjar dynasty ( Qājār, Qadjar, Qajar, Persian: قاجار ) is a Turkmen dynasty which reigned over Iran from 1786 to 1925.
The finesse of the carvings shows the dexterity of the Persian engravers.
