"Pair Of Carved Walnut Vases"
Pair of vases with ovoid body, decorated with characters treated in the antique style in bas-relief and finished with three feet resting on a triangular base. Solid wood work in two glued parts. Inside, a zinc lining. Curious work, certainly from the 19th century; a little naive but not devoid of charm, perhaps the work of a cabinetmaker occupying his long winter evenings. Very nice patina.
