"Cradle Of Saintonge"
Wooden cradle from Saintonge, dating from the end of the 18th century or the beginning of the 19th century. Its height put the newborn at the level of the parent's bed and out of reach of pets often present in the only living room. The holes on the sides were used to pass ribbons so that the child did not fall (he was swaddled in a swaddle...). Curved wooden pads made it possible to rock him. Length 111cm. Width 52.5cm. Total height 101, bottom height 64 cm, side height 84 cm. transport quote on request, specifying the city.
