Renaissance style ceremonial chair in ebonized pearwood with ivory inlays in the style of Léon Joseph Thomas Alessandri born in Ravenna in 1803 -1883, ivory manufacturer specializing in tableware. The tableware consisted of making small objects in ivory, horn or hard wood close to the work of a goldsmith. In 1844 Alessandri invented the ivory rolling machine.
