This piece of furniture is composed in the upper part of an inclined flap provided in the center with fawn-coloured leather with a golden vignette composed of stylized leaves. On either side, decorative elements in cedar and lemon tree wood decorate this desk. Inside, we find paper racks in the left part and in the right part a pen tray and an inkwell. On the right side of this Davenport, four identical side drawers with pine cone knobs have original locks with working key. The interior of each drawer is solid mahogany. On the left side, we find four dummy drawers with an identical appearance. Set back, the front of this piece of furniture has a central panel with a rectangular band of thuja embellished with amaranth and lemon tree. These veneer decorations are also present on the pilasters and the base of this piece of furniture resting on wheels.
