Beautiful Louis XV-Louis XVI Transition style chest of drawers in mahogany and marquetry. It opens on the front with five drawers without crosspieces in three rows. Front and sides with projections, four arched hoofed feet. Important marquetry work: diamonds, nets, frets and grooves. Rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes: - Pull handles with nested laurel leaves, pearls and rosettes. - Keyholes with tied ribbon, fall of leaves and pearls. - Apron with acanthus leaves, grooves and water drops. - Falls of antique angles: posts, garlands of laurel leaves, flat fluted columns with asparagus tips and acanthus leaves.
