Important Parcloses Glazing, Regency - 1st Part Of The Nineteenth

This very large mirror is composed of a frame with two scalloped gilt wood moldings with beaded mirrors highlighting the projecting central mirror. We find in the middle as well as at the corners beautiful shells surrounded by scrolls and scrolls in gilded wood. This mirror is topped with a large finely carved pediment composed of foliage at the ends, garlands of flowers and foliage. In the center, a large shell dominates this set of mercury mirrors surrounded by gilding in very good condition. With its generous pediment and the finesse of these ornamentations, this large mirror will charm you with its presence.
