Since 1980 it has become a range of the Folk Painter of the USSR. Corresponding member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR (1970). The winner of the RSFSR state prize from IE Répin. In 1935-1939, as an auditor, she studied in a workshop of Father Isaak Brodsky at the Leningrad Academy of Arts, since 1939 - in Moscow under NP Krymov. Brodskaja devoted her creativity to the image of native nature. The author of landscapes devoted to the nature of the Urals, Siberia, the Far East, Ukraine (“A decline on the Dnieper” (1972), “Spring” (1961-67) , etc). Participating in exhibitions since 1944. Lydia Brodskaya's works were exhibited at exhibitions in France (1948), Finland (1950), Poland (1951), India (1951), China (1954), Syria (1955). Personal exhibitions were held in Moscow in 1948, 1949, 1955. In 1981 LI Brodskaya was awarded a silver medal from the Academy of Arts of the USSR. His works are part of the collections of the Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the museums of Kiev, Lwow and Cheljabinsk.
