"Monumental Painting "
Large colorful Russian winter landscape created in ca. 1890-1900s by well-renowed Estonian-Russian landscape and genre artist Andrej Egorov( 1878 Aruküla by Revel ( now Tallinn) - 1954 Tallinn). Untill 1921 he lived and worked in St. Petersburg, later in Tallinn. He was deaf and dumb, at first time of his Petersburg´s life he studied in the special institute for deaf people, afterthen - in the Drawing School (OPH) in 1898-1901 and in the Art Academy by Ilya Repin and DHKardovsky (1902 -1904). In 1909 for his painting "In the village" he received title of master painter. Since 1911 he was a member of art society of Arkhip Kuinji and participant of exhibitions since 1907. main motives of his works nature and people of Russia and Estonia.
