Large enamelled earthenware vase by Paul Fouillen (1899-1958) Quimper Bellied shape and scalloped neck, two side handles. decoration of stylized motifs belonging to the Celtic repertoire. Decor painted by hand and signed by P.Fouillen on the belly. Stamp of the earthenware Paul Fouillen -Quimper under the base. Paul Fouillen did his apprenticeship in earthenware in the HB factory in Quimper. He created his own decoration workshop in 1929 and in 1945, he launched his earthenware factory in Quimper. Vase in very good condition, interesting for its two signatures. Period around 1950.
