This beautiful expressive painting depicting a circus scene behind the backstage with a harlequin and ballerinas. It was created in the style of the Ecole de Paris by the German expressionist Heinz Klaiberg. After the academy in Germany, Klaiberg specialized in figurative painting during his life and work in Paris.
