Highland wool on cotton weft, approximately 400,000 knots per M2, a complicated decor offers us a real eye-catcher.
These tightly knotted rugs have a cotton warp and are typically Persian decorated.
There are no designs, such as medallions, palmettes, arabesques, and mir-e butha patterns or found on our very elaborate model.
What is special about these carpets is the frequent use of cochineal red or blue gray, and a wool that is as soft as it is supple for a very high quality pile.
This rug has been professionally and environmentally cleaned.
