"Anthropomorphic African Stool Circa 1950"
Beautiful anthropomorphic stool, probably Lobi (Burkina Faso) around 1940-50 depicting a character. Nice patina, some traces of wear related to use, especially on the feet. This type of stool was generally transported by its owner, hence its relatively small size.
