Officer's travel clock called Capucine in the shape of a rectangular quadrilateral in the form of a polished brass cage, it opens with two side doors revealing the movement and a door at the back revealing the escapement. Each of the angles is flanked by small reels called jiggers, in the center two superimposed stamps, topped with a mobile handle in the shape of rings to facilitate its movement. The white enamel dial marked with Roman numerals is signed by Robert à Nismes; these needles are eccentric trilobed. The dial is enclosed in a gilded bronze bezel encircled with chiseled pearls, spokes of leaves in bundles. The set rests on four spinning top legs. Our nasturtium is equipped with a movement also in brass. It is equipped with a striking mechanism for hours, halves and quarters. Its escapement is cylinder with spiral balance.
