"Study Of A Naked Man - School Of Annibale Carracci"
Black line on blue paper. Bolognese school of the 17th century, suite of Annibale Carracci. Under a light and vigorous line, a powerful male figure emerges which contrasts with the softness of his expression. Although an inscription in ink indicates the name of Pordenone, a Renaissance painter attached to the Venetian School, this study is to be located in Emilia in the suite of the immense Annibale Carracci.
Provenance: old Milanese collection.
Dimensions 26 x 18 cm the drawing – 46 x 38 cm with the frame
