"Jewelry Box In Hard Stone China Qing Dynasty"
China - Qing dynasty - late 19th century early 20th century. Charming box in hard stone (bacon stone?) carved and finely chiseled with a removable lid decorated with a Fenghuang (Phoenix in Asian folklore). Small insignificant chip under the base (see photo)
