"Small Salon Table In Precious Wood, Louis XVI - Early Nineteenth"
Beautiful small Louis XVI table in precious wood topped with an original gray marble, veined with white. This elegant piece of furniture opens on the front with three marquetry drawers. Each features a rosewood center surrounded by light wood and stained wood fillets, trimmed with square cabochons. At each end of the drawers, two brass cup pull buttons are embellished with a striated outline. The interior and the sides of the drawers are in oak. In the lower part of the facade, we find a crosspiece composed alternately of mahogany, amaranth and light wood. The uprights in the upper part are also made of mahogany, light wood, amaranth and rosewood. On the sides of this small piece of furniture we find a central composition of rosewood, surrounded by dark-coloured and wooden nets. light. And a crosspiece in the same spirit as the facade. The set is supported by four sheath feet ending in a brass shoe. The charm and originality of the marquetry of this living room table will unreservedly seduce its buyers. It will inevitably be noticed in an elegant interior.
