"Nepalese Lute Sgra-snyan"

Musical instrument in wood with four strings whose upper part is decorated with a head of Vyala. The sound box decorated with geometric and floral patterns is covered with leather. Very nice patina of use.
Northern Nepal - 19th-20th century.
Custom base in patinated brass.
