"Laying Cartel"
19th century Louis XIV style cartel signed on the "Berthoud" dial in brown tortoiseshell, very rich gilt bronze ornamentation attributed to "Alfred-Emmanuel Beurdeley" BY (1847-1919) participated in the 1878 Universal Exhibition it is compared to the most famous artists of the time, such as Dasson, Grohé, Sauvrezy, Fourdinois; its last major event was the Universal and International Exhibition of 1889, this cartel is a replica of a model by "Charles Cressant". White enameled dial, Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, original bronze hands, chime on gong, overhauled movement, all guaranteed for two years.
