CHABAS Paul Emile (1869-1937) painter of character compositions, nudes, portraits, student of William BOUGUEREAU and Tony ROBERT-FLEURY at the JULIAN Academy where he was trained in Paris from 1883 to 1887, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1885, received the Prix National du Salon in 1899 and a gold medal in 1900, he was also Commander of the Legion of Honor.
