Circular etching representing a young herdsman playing the flute among his sheep. Signed MARCHETTI Gustave Henri lower right French School, born in 1873 in Paris, genre painter, sculptor and etcher. Pupil of J. Blanc, Bouguereau and Gabriel Ferrier. Associate of French Artists since 1901, he appeared in the salon of this society where he obtained an honorable mention in 1900; as an engraver, he obtained an honorable mention in 1905. Framed by a golden rod. Dim etching Diam 38.5 cm Total dim 63 x 55.5 cm
