"Odiot Vegetable Dish, Paris Circa 1900, Sterling Silver"
Surprising Napoleon III style vegetable dish in solid silver with an artichoke-shaped lid. The vegetable dish with two side handles formed by crossed branches and the body of the vegetable dish is decorated with a frieze of stylized hearts of different sizes. This decor is rather rare and makes it particularly romantic (don't forget that Valentine's Day is approaching). The lid is engraved with a coat of arms "silver furnished with an ox's head" topped with a marquis's crown. It is stamped with the head of a neck brace and the hallmark of a master silversmith from Odiot Prevost and company, which dates it after 1904. The vegetable dish weighs 1375 grams.
