Elegant rectangular cylinder desk in rosewood veneer and herringbone marquetry called curling marquetry.
In the upper part, the cylinder conceals a sliding top surmounted by two drawers and three compartments, a magnificent gilded bronze gallery open in openwork finish. In the lower part, we discover a large drawer organized into three compartments as well as four curved legs slightly bulging on the top ending in clogs specific to the Transition style.
Stamped work of the Parisian House "Escalier de Cristal Paris" - Period XIXth century.
