Terracotta medallion representing the profile portrait of a young woman. Signed R. Rossi. Remo Rossi (1909-1982). Italo swiss sculptor. Art studies in Milan and Paris. Influenced at the beginning by Maillol and Rodin, he changed his work in the early 50s for an archaic and geometric style. A R. Rossi Foundation opened in Locarno in 2009.
The medalion Can be mounted on a spindle.
