the climb to the port by Emile Vernier (52 cm / 37 cm) the cranes are moored to the pontoons. we can make out a moving figure heading towards the cabin. the boats are on different planes always with the same quality of detail which enhances the quality of this painter. The clouds on a dewy bluish gray background are also a characteristic of the artist. the original frame is molded decorated with laurel wreath palmettes, and wrapped pattern.
