Oil on canvas "La Kasbah à Skoura" by Paul-Jean ANDERBOUHR (1909 - 2006) Signed lower right. The work was exhibited at the Durand-Ruel Gallery, from November 27 to December 19, 1964. Visible at the Gallery, at 97 rue de Courcelles, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. Born in 1909 and died in 2006, Paul-Jean ANDERBOUHR is a French painter. He then began to paint and exhibited from 1934 and exhibited at the Salon d'Automne in 1937 and 1938. As part of the post-Impressionism movement, he had his first personal exhibition in 1953, at the avant-garde Paul Durand gallery. -Ruel. Throughout his life, he traveled between Africa (especially Morocco) and France. Beyond his numerous landscapes and African scenes, he painted many Parisian scenes (such as "Place de la Concorde", "Sur le Pont des Arts"), Italian landscapes ("Sur le Pont Vecchio"), Spanish ( "The Church of Lojen"), or South Mediterranean.
