Important Oval Golden Mirror - Napoleon III

Important Suspension mirror, forming an Oval and from the Napoleon III period. Its Golden Frame has multiple Moldings and is embellished with a Beaded frieze in its Interior. This Decorative object is crowned with a prominent Pediment. The central element represents three Acanthus Leaves forming Windings and containing its heart, Scrolls and Flowers, thus giving the illusion of a Fleur de Lys folded back on itself. In its continuity, a Lovely Garland of intertwined Leaves, dividing on both sides into two Branches, and ending at the end with various flowers, including Roses. Note a repetition of these Ornaments, affixed to the Grooves of the Frame, for each of its edges. In the Lower part of this Authentic property, we find, in relief, a Central Trim composed of Leaves and Scrolls, accompanied by Flower Cuttings on each side. Its glass of Origin, with Mercury, is cut in Bevel in its Perimeter and presents some stakes of Mercury. This ancestral production gives old ice cream an inimitable look. They hide the Beauty of their shores caught in the imperfections of the glass, the irregularity of their surface, and the traces of the Mercury which has passed over time. It is with a certain Pleasure that we will contemplate the History emerging from this Important Mirror from the Napoleon III period.
