Pair Of Delft Earthenware Vases - Early Twentieth

Pretty assorted earthenware vases, from the internationally renowned Dutch Manufacture "Royal Delft". Each of these vases is structured with a smooth white enamel of extreme brilliance, decorated with a castle bordering a river, with arabesques and flowers in a luminous and nuanced “Delft Blue” colour. These two baluster vases are decorated with floral motifs framing a finely painted landscape on their ovoid body. On the top, we find bell lids sculpted with Fô dogs harmonizing the whole. Below, the "Delft" signature is surrounded by those of the craftsmen. The fineness of the painted ornaments and the quality of their enamelling make these Delft vases a unique and sought-after creation.
