Set Of Two Chinese Boxes With Cloisonné Decorations, Years 1940-1950

Two bi-component boxes (container and lid) of Chinese context, manufactured around the years 1940-1950.

Made of lacquered wood in a dark color, they are characterized by a gold-colored decoration with orientalist and naturalist motifs that cover the entire surface.
The most interesting element is found on the front of the lid of both works: a magnificent panel decorated with the artistic technique of cloisonné, which consists of creating decorations on metal bases through the use of polychrome glass pastes, such as in this case where elements of different kinds are represented, in the larger box there is a decoration with different floral elements, with fruits and objects, while in the smaller box the cloisonné decoration is abstract, characterized by shapes vegetable and organic, in both cases are distinguished by the gloss and bright colors.

The dimensions of the largest box are: 26 x 26 x 9 cm
The measurements of the smallest box are: 20 x 20 x 7.5
