Beautiful speckled mahogany desk from the middle of the 19th century. A superb quality of manufacture for this Louis XVI desk with a beautiful ornamentation of bronzes in capitals on the bases of the feet. Three drawers in front, one of which is fitted with a cache and compartment. This desk is of course double-sided with the same visitor ornamentation.
