The Belgian painter Albert Bergeon gives us here a surreal vision of the superb calanque d'en Vau. A tangle of shells and crustaceans symbolizes the rocks. A deep midnight blue evokes the Mediterranean Sea on which the shape of the calanque stands out.
The painter painted a bird's eye view of the rocks from the height of the natural Belvedere of en Vau which overlooks the place.
Albert Bergeon's original style is imbued with Art Brut and surrealism
