The barrel-shaped body rests on a pedestal. Mark St L 7: Salle Saint Louis lit n° 7. The absence of a maker's mark suggests local manufacture in the establishment itself. The underside has a curious division into 12 spindles with numbers engraved in drypoint. Height: 12.5cm. Clear and silky patina. 19th c. Good condition with micro shocks and scratches from use.
