Very nice pair of important decorative dishes in Limoges porcelain. these two dishes with extraordinary dimensions (56 cm in length!!!) are decorated with gallant scenes. The central decoration of each dish represents two characters and is made using the enhanced chromo technique, the entire landscape surrounding our two characters is entirely hand painted. Our two dishes are signed Luc in the decoration at the bottom left for one and at the bottom right for the other. They come from the GDA factory for Gerard-Defraissex-Abbot, period from the very beginning of the 20th century. They carry the factory's green chrome stamp on the back.
