"Gujarat Powder Flask"
From a private collection. A fine 19th century brass-mounted mother-of-pearl powder flask from Gujarat, North Western India. Formed from a turbo shell, with hammered brass fittings around the neck and a securing chain ring with a velvet belt loop to the back and a brass ball-shaped stopper. In uncleaned but very good condition. Chain should be re-attched to stopper.
