"19th Library Pedestal"
Rare and beautiful circular pedestal table in solid mahogany, tray decorated with a frieze of water leaves, opening with two drawers and two dark pull tabs in purple leather gilded with small iron. Tripartite shaft richly carved with split shells and palmettes, three winding feet ending in bronze castors, circa 1840-1850 and of good quality. The underside of the tray is 66 cm from the ground.
