Elegant living room in gilded wood in the Louis XVI style, made at the end of the 19th century. This living room is composed of a bench, a pair of armchairs and a pair of chairs. Beautiful medallion shape, the woodwork is finely carved with ribbons, the backs are topped with charming bows. This set is in used condition. The woodwork is in good condition, the fittings are old but the seat, although flexible, remains comfortable and does not require immediate repair. The covering fabric is velvet in pastel colours, it has traces of use and a few rare and discreet halos (in particular on one of the chairs). The gilding of this living room is original and has been heavily patinated by time and use. The armrests and high backrests in particular reveal the natural color of the wood. These wears of gilding give a "shabby chic" spirit to the living room.
