"Nineteenth Panel Painting Romantic Allegorical Scene"
Superb and elegant oil painting on panel from the 19th century. It represents the allegory of a romantic scene. We see a reclining man, wearing a turban, surrounded by 3 young women playing music. At the foot of the man the base of a column decorated with a sculpted fresco and architectural ruins and at the bottom of the painting 2 dogs quietly dozing listening to the sweet melody. Romantic painting characteristic of the 19th century where the colors have remained bright and luminous, the whole in excellent condition is presented in an old gilded wooden frame.
