Bonheur du Jour in Louis XV style in marquetry of Rosewood, Amaranth and Lemon tree decorated with small flowers, opening with 2 doors adorned with an inlaid medallion decorated with stars, 2 drawers and a large drawer forming a sliding writing desk whose top is covered with a brown leather (changed). It is richly ornamented with chiseled and gilded bronzes (gallery, falls, handles, keyholes and moldings). It rests on 4 curved legs ending in bronze clogs.French polish finish.
NAPOLEON III period. Mid 19th century P
erfect condition after restoration, stripping, removal, cleaning and refitting of the bronzes. Locks and keys in working order.
